Birla Electricals
Limited, a company of Yash Birla Group was founded in the year 1996, to
manufacture and market various small home appliances in India.
In the year 1996, Yash
Birla Group & Italian white goods major De’longhi S P A entered in
collaboration, to market various range of consumer durables and home
appliances in India.
In the first year of
its operation, the company launched Electric Oil Filled Room Heating
Systems first time in India under the brand name “Birla De’longhi”.
These room-heating systems received overwhelming response from customers
who till date were depending on obsolete & age old technology of heating
rods/ conventional heaters.
On 12th
December 2001, the company launched the entire range of small appliances
of De’longhi in India. Earlier only Electric Oil filled room heating
systems were marketed. The entire range was received well in the north
and was a resounding success.
Looking at the rapid
industry growth Birla Electricals introduced small appliances under its
own brand name Birla Lifestyle. Birla Electricals Limited is looking at
rapid growth and going to have an edge over competitive brands available
in the Indian market by providing high-tech, high-quality and high-value
products at affordable prices for consumers.
Mr. Raju Todi
associated with the group since more than 3 decades took lead along with
highly professional team to fulfill the vision and mission of the
company. Encouraged by its successful launch of small appliances Air
cooler and fans were introduced in year 2007. For the first time a
cooler with remote control was introduced in Indian market followed by
other conventional coolers. Looking forward to be a major player
in cooler industry with the advantage of being the most premium business
houses of the country with a wide after sales service and sales network
Birla Electricals will build up a “No. 1 Brand name” in small appliances
in days to come.
